Sukhwant Thethi is a community activist, entrepreneur and successful bank manager.

Sukhwant immigrated to Canada in April 1995. He started his career in Canada as a production line factory worker. In 1996, he gained Canadian experience working as a bus boy at the Regal Constellation Hotel in Etobicoke. By his sheer hard work and perseverance, he earned the position of Manager - Food and Beverages in 1998. A career shift directed Sukhwant to the financial services field.

He became a Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust and then quickly honed his financial management and people skills to rise up the ranks and become Branch Manager, a position he currently holds.

Through his marketing strategies, in print, T.V. and radio, Sukhwant has become a community personality and energetically participates in volunteer activities for worthwhile causes.

In his spare time, Sukhwant enjoys reading. He is happily married to Rajinder Thethi and has two young girls, Gurleen and Amarjot.

He has a vision of a better Canada and will work hard to see that vision come to light.
